The Azerbaijan Tourism Board is participating in "Ferien-Messe Wien" 2025, Austria’s leading tourism fair, held in the capital city of Vienna.

Alongside the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and local tourism industry representatives, Azerbaijan is presenting its diverse tourism offerings to international visitors.

As a multifaceted platform for the tourism industry, the exhibition facilitates B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2C (Business-to-Customer) networking opportunities. Visitors are introduced to Azerbaijan’s key tourism destinations, including sites inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List—Icherisheher (Old City), Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape, and the Sheki Khan’s Palace along with Sheki’s historic center.

The Azerbaijan national stand offers an immersive virtual reality (VR) experience, allowing visitors to explore Gobustan Rock Art and the ancient Khinalig village. Additionally, guests can enjoy a tasting session featuring traditional Azerbaijani sweets.

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Austria, Rovshan Sadigbeyli, visited the national stand to review the exhibition and explore the tourism products being showcased.

Notably, direct flights from Vienna to Baku offer a convenient and accessible travel option for Austrian citizens. In 2024, the number of Austrian visitors to Azerbaijan increased by 10% compared to the previous year, reflecting a growing interest in Azerbaijan as a travel destination.
